NOt to be an ass but I do comp prep too and been competing for 5 yrs. so I know how light makes a difference...IMO he looks tighter in the am and I am usually a damn good judge on that...hell I make good money off of doing it...

I'm sure you're rolling in the dough from your contest prep work, but Steve and Sage aren't your prep guys. They're just kids posting pics on a bbing board, because they're excited about their contest.

Friday night is not the time to tell a 19 year old kid he's looking softer.

I realize this is a message board where opinions are allowed. I just think it shows a lack of tact to post a negative comment to a kid the night before the biggest event of his life.

As an update, but Steve and Sage were in the top 5 call out. Steve looks to have the heavyweight class. It should be a good battle for the overall.

Steve also received a top 5 callout in the collegiates, where he and Moslem Elbasouni (2003 heavyweight teen champ) were held together in the middle.

Congratulations to both of them, they've suffered through a contest prep in the middle of the summer, while home from college. That is commendable.

I placed 5th Top 5 and Coming Home with a Trophy in Middle Weight Class!

Steve placed 1st in the Heavy Weight Class and was Barely Beatin in the overall....It was Close. He also Placed 3rd in the Collegiates HeavyWeight.
